The Queens College Book Store should be open today. They will be selling packets for $140.

We will cover Operating Systems, the Microsoft Office package, and Internet technologies.

The first assignment is to apply for an account in order to be able to log on to the computers in the lab. This time, I logged into the computers for you. Go to this website (right click to open in a new window):

Click on "I am a first time user and do not have an account."

You will need to fill in your College ID, your Pin #, and your Billing Zip Code.

College ID is your Social Security Number, not the number on your photo ID.
Pin #, if you have not changed it, is your birthdate in the format mmddyy.

If you have questions, arrange to meet with me. Office hours will be after the lab.
